Picollo has also hinted at the possibility of bringing back Mike Yastrzemski, who performed well after joining the Royals via trade last season.

The Royals' projected payroll currently stands at $125 million, but they could reduce it further by making strategic decisions regarding arbitration-eligible players like Jonathan India.
